COVID-19 Rules when visiting Doveridge Clay Sports
- At all times, you should continue to observe social distancing guidelines, including ensuring you are 2 metres away from anyone outside your household.
- Under the new Government Road Map we can confirm that Shooting Grounds can open for outside activities from week commencing the 29th March 2021.
- You should not use these facilities if you are showing coronavirus symptoms, or if you or any of your household are self-isolating.
- We are keeping the booking in system for the skeet and two towers. But with the sporting you may turn up between our opening times without booking in. You will need to follow the COVID Rules of a maximum of 6 people per group.
- In the group of 6, if you are from different households you will need to socially distance 2m apart.
- On the sporting you may start on any stand but please go in a clockwise direction when moving to your next stand.
- Shooters will be allowed to enter the clubhouse to the reception area on a 1 in 1 out policy.
- Clay credit, Cartridges (Make sure you bring you shotgun certificate) and ear plugs will be available to purchase.
- Preffered Payment method is Card. Exact Cash will also be accepted.
- Hot/Cold Drinks and Snacks will be available for purchase outside for takeaway only on Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays.
Sporting – Experienced Course
The Experienced Sporting Course will be 15 Stands spread around the grounds and in the valley. Stand 1 Starts at the Pond Stand.
Rules
- All stands will have a new foot control button. The stand will have two-foot switches mounted together. The left foot switch is the A Trap and the right foot switch is the B Trap. If you would like a pair press both foot switches together. The foot switches have been put in place to help individuals button their selves and to stop the spread of Covid-19.
- Please observe social distancing guidelines, including ensuring you are 2 metres away from anyone outside your household.
- Max of 6 people per group
- Once you have finished shooting you must not stay around the grounds talking. You are advised to return back home.
Skeet Ranges
We have 6 Skeet Layouts available. They are lettered Layout A through to Layout F. Please make sure you check what is on that layout, as some are Olympic Skeet, English Skeet, DTL and Olympic Trap.
Due to COVID-19 we will have a booking in facility to make sure we have a limit number of shooters on the ground at one time.
